After nearly twenty years of civil war, the political climate in Sudan is changing to allow the start of a five-year project to ameliorate the lives of the people of South Sudan.
Sudan Health Transformation Project, funded by the US Agency for International Development and implemented by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. in collaboration with the Secretariat of Health of the Sudan Peoples Liberation Movement, targets increased access and utilization of health, water, and sanitation services to improve the well-being of children, mothers, and families.
